Caller identified herself as "Cindy", claimed (in the thickest of Indian accents) reason for calling was that SDGE (San Diego Gas and Electric) rates were increasing and if I was a homeowner I might qualify for government programs to make energy saving adjustments to my home. (I'm sure this is about selling solar, or a solar selling scam call originating from overseas.) Caller id displayed San Marcos, CA, which is located in San Diego County. This has to be a spoofed number, and very heavy boiler room activity in background. Caller could barely pronounce the words and it was obvious she was reading from a script which was quite challenging for her. She hung up quickly when I told her I was not a homeowner! :)
Multiple calls from new numbers over the past couple of days. No caller ID. No message left. Can't prove this one is a spammer at this point, but some of the signs are there.
