This number called 6 times today. 4 times yesterday. It is a computerized Telemarketing system. It disconnects after outgoing voicemail or I pick up. No idea who it is. They call between 5pm and 8pm. Made complaint to Indio Police Department and to KESQ-TV3 in Palm Springs, CA. Hope I can get state or feds involved. working on name and address location of company. these guys are clearly breaking telemarketing laws.
Ever since I got Verizon FIOS, I have been getting hammered with these types of calls; Verizon misspelled my name on the account which is how I know they are selling my info. Besides these calls, I am also getting 10X's my normal junk mail. Verizon is the biggest violator of the worthless “Do not Call List”.
Google your name and number, any place such as spokeo that shows up, make them remove it. You might be surprised what comes up. There are web sites out there with your info on them and right down to relatives. As a rule, the illegal callers just plumb in a set of numbers to dialers or computers.
Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
As for the DNC, its does as it was intended to and it is enforced. Legit business's have to purchase it and prove who they are. Its not a call blocking device or phone though. And if you tell verizon not to call, it means them and their affiliates (back it in writing sent certified or return receipt USPS mail) they must abide by it the same as any other company despite being your service provider.

We have been getting called by this number for the past couple of weeks now and it's in the afternoon two -three times daily and it is really starting to become a problem I have tired everything to get this to stop calling they say anything they just wait 5seconds and hang up this is bullcrap
Daily calls from this number "Blythe 760-544-3639" I answer & immediately disconnect as there is no point in answering as they hang up & when I called the number back one time, no answer.
