Merchant services scam calling about hike rate. Requests to call back: 855-270-9974 to an ext.

CAlled and hung up when I answered, probably checking to see if my number is active.

What their call agent Marilyn states:
Long story short, they are trying to sell merchant services to small businesses.
They would like to set up an appointment to discuss your current rates.

NO MORE CALLS WASTING OUR TIME.

CALLED AND HUNG UP

another one of these b.s. scam artists from "merchant services", supposedly in Orange County (from a 760 number, uh huh) looking for the person who handles the merchant services account to speak with them about a rate hike (good one, almost got me there....NOT).  I kept "nancy" on the phone asking her who she worked for, where they were from, what she wanted and then told her the person she was looking for would be back around 7pm most evenings (when no one is ever here to answer the phone).  Have fun with that "nancy".
