Same as other posts. Unknown number and no message. I don't answer, but I am getting 3 or 4 calls a day on cell. I report them, but get the canned answer that they are unable to identify callers because the number is spoofed. I have to believe someone is getting paid as we certainly have the ability to track these scum. Do not call is worthless. Thank goodness for this site as I check here first.
I received a call from 760-616-3021 and have no idea why they called. I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave a message. Would they just STOP. I keep getting so many calls from places I have never heard of or have been to. It's weird that when we need a number we can't find it but how the heck do they get all of our numbers?????
Think about it! It's VERY easy to do.
First, a lot of numbers are available in legitimate sources on the internet.Second, scammers find numbers using automated systems set to dial all numbers within a block (e.g., 213-000-0000 to 213-999-9999), to detect and record those that are valid.Third, scammers buy and sell lists of valid numbers.
