called me and i let it go to vmail, they just hung up. i think its one of those scams that tries to get you to say "YES" and uses that for identity theft.
Received call from this number Phelan, CA. I didn't answer, because I didn't recognize it. Called back to ID the caller, immediately received outgoing message that my number has been removed from their list. Possibly a set-up, i.e. verify they have the right number to hack, or possibly compromise my cell phone. Received similar call from 316-218-9040 Wichita, KS almost the same time.
Called with a recorded message, "your vehicle warranty has expired, we sent you a notice in the mail and will soon close the account if you don't take action. Would you like to speak to a representative?" May I add they didn't provide a company or warranty name...I hung up.
