calls everyday i pick up only to find they hang up during the call.

Have blocked this number & they still call at all times of day or night.

I don't answer the call, but they've called 3 days in a row now.

I've gotten a few calls from this number. It hangs up before it goes to voice mail--usually on the 3rd ring. At first, I thought it was just a mis-dial. But, then two more calls came from the same number. Today, I decided to try answering on the 2nd ring. They hung up when I answered. I wonder if they could be testing lines to find active numbers to call. Yesterday, I got an IRS scam call from a number in the same area code. I'm not sure if this is connected to that or not.
