White Pages Caller ID program said it was "suspected spam" and there were 2 reports filed against this number in the last 90 days. Number blocked, no further problems.
Gave name as Eric Thornton. Is that someone famous? Said something about a police charity, and the call is being recorded "for quality assurance" okay? I said "No" and "he" said goodbye.
Something stiff and mechanical about the voice. I didn't feel like messing with it, but I'm pretty sure it was one of those sophisticated 'bots ....
