Typical big money play that the local politicos fell for. So then a grass roots opposition effort easily gathered enough signatures to force a ballot measure. So now we get round two of lies and campaigning. If you know what The Grove did to the quaint Farmer's Market institution in LA, this is the same guy... who wants build alongside a coastal lagoon that is currently undeveloped and most of which is already protected.
