Getting a ton of calls from this number and another one almost identical (762-208-4246). Several each day. A British woman's voice says I should press a button to retrieve an important message.
If anyone finds out who this is calling, please post it on here. This number has called a dozen times today. Once they called 2 times in a row. Then when you answer, they hang up on you.
I haven't gotten the name of the company but it's collections their calling me about a Verizon bill. I used to work in debt collections and even I think their tactics are brutal enough to be sued.
I've been trying to get an identity on this caller. I'm about ready to call this a scam.
Here is why:
You can't call them back (they also use the number 762.208.4219) . Calls to either number variously result in an immediate disconnect or rollover to a busy signal.
I can find no evidence that the company exists. Based on the phone number they would seem to be in the Columbus, GA area, but no luck looking for them ANYWHERE in the 762 area. A search at the Georgia Secretary of State's web site reveals a few corporations with similar names (some of them dissolved) but nothing which seems like a good match.

In any case, if they are monitoring 800notes (as many of these jokers seem to do) and they are by some chance legit, they would do well to step up and provide their address and what sort of business they are. A web site would also be nice.
As I continue to research this number, I am not having much luck, but did want to update with what I have found so far. According to the web site <http://www.callercomplaints.com> this is a "spoofed" number. I do not know how reliable this feature of their site is. Other resources have identified it as a Powertel (cell phone) number, while others identify it as a Columbus, GA number.
