I had a item on craigslist for sale. I received a text asking if they could call me to make sure it's not a scam, and to add a code he sent me. I then received the call from a L.A area phone recorded message wanting me to add the code. I did not.It then began harassing me with many calls one after the other.Then the person flooded me with text messages trying to insult me with childish name calling.THIS IS A BOTTOM FEEDER SCAM.
I had an item on craigslist as well--got identical calls from two different area codes, same crap. called the person on the scam--should be interesting to see what happens.
Reveived text messages from this number in response to an ad I placed on KSL. They were asking me to ship the camera I was selling and they would pay me with PayPal. Typical scammers. What they do is put money in the account and as soon as you shiP the item, the money bounces and ur left with nothing.
I too have an item on craigslist the person wanted to ship it to Africa to the girlfriend. I told him that country has the worlds most beautifull diamonds. And can get them there. Next text ask for paypal account evan though I stated Cash only deal. Then tells me he has been scammed before and Paypal help him lie paypal will not help. Then told him this is a scam numbe got no reponce back
