Name pops up as "Tax Help Center." It was rejected by my call-blocker, but I'm sure it was one of the phony IRS callers. The IRS, of course, doesn't call. It sends letters.
Gee, I was hoping it was Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy, or Publisher's Clearing House. Instead, the Tax Help Center was offering to give me advice. All they needed was my SS number, CC number and passwords to all my accounts. Of course, being a legal arm of the Federal Government, I was happy to comply. Seriously, though, does anybody even answer their land line phones anymore? Nothing but GDF scammers, like this poor MF.
