They just called my home phone, I answered and said, "Hello" about 3 times. There was complete silence.Caller ID shows ATHENS GA. I called the number back and it is a fund raiser for Firemen and their families.
They just called our home for money for a firefighter foundation. Wish my husband and son were home they are both firefighters and I would have loved for one of them to handle it. They do not stop calling. When asked for an address he couldn't find one right away then gave some supposed headquarter address. Gage Washington (at least that is who he said he was) is the person that called us. Wish people would donate to their local firefighters and if they choose to donate to a foundation they can get the information for you. If you don't initiate the call sad to have to say but be wary.
Really am getting sick of these telemarketing companies calling me for $$!!! If I am donating anything, Its going to be something local! !! By the way I am on the Do Not Call List!!! Like that really matters anymore!
