Caller ID just says: Cambridge, MN and the number. They called many times from 763-200-6592. I blocked that number and now they are calling from 763-200-9545. I assume it is from the same people. If they are trying to collect on old credit card debt they are barking up the wrong tree. I've never been late on a credit card payment in over 50 years. I just resent getting these calls and interrupting my day. I never pick up from a person, place or number that is not familiar to me. If they continue to call I block the number. I post to 800Notes just to find out what others know about the caller and to add any information I may have. We can't rely on the Federal Do Not Call Registry. It has too many loopholes. As they say, "knowledge is power".
Said please hold for next operator. All were busy. Then why did you call me. Called twice in 30 min. I do have CapOne but I'm not behind on anything. Guess I'm gonna not be so nice when they call again as I am also on the NO CALL LIST!
Have called several times. Once I received a voicemail that consisted of a basic hold message (i.e. "your call is very important to us, please continue to hold.") I have no Capital One accounts, and no old debts or late payments on anything. So excluding potential fraud on a long-closed or never-used store card, I can't imagine them having legitimate business with me.
I got a call from this number while at work!!! No message was left. I returned the call and got an automated message. This is GE HOME SECURITY. We would like to provide youi with information on a GH Home Security System. I said NO and call was ended. Don't have a clue if this will stop when I said NO or if it will continue. If in continues, I will be very upset as they are calling my WORK number.
