got a call (left a message) saying I won publisher's clearing house and a new mercedes
to call back (which I didn't). Funny, I never even entered that contest
I received several calls from this number at about 9am this morning, the caller claimed to be from the FBI. The male caller told me I was in trouble, and "they" were going to show up and arrest me unless I paid them a fee that would make my problems "go away." THIS IS A SCAM, do not answer them! Tell them to show up in person with PROPER identification, then immediately hang up and call your local law enforcement and report your conversation. If someone actually shows up, talk though your CLOSED door, call 911 to report a stranger harassing you on your doorstep, and tell the visitor that the cops are on their way to check them out.
Got a call from this number 2/26/12 PM and they claimed they were with the FBI and they asked if we were getting calls from sweepstakes people and that we should pay the "fee" if they called back. Said no and they threatened with physical violence. Hung up and reported to police. These people need to be jailed.
