Just missed a call from this number and got a one-second-long voicemail that simply said "Hi." That's it. It was a woman's voice. I'm looking for a job right now, so I'm sure like the rest of the commenters here she found my info and wanted to recruit me or whatever. I live in the Twin Cities area, and recognize the area code, but don't recognize any of the company names anyone has posted yet. Super weird!
They called me asking questions in an attempt for me to change careers. They claimed to have gotten my contact information from CareerBuilder (a website I have not used in 2 years). When I declined, they got rude with me and suggested that I take my contact information down from CareerBuilder.
Speaks very fast, sounded like "The OA group" (I asked her to repeat it three times) and wanted to talk to me about a job offer. Before they would talk about the job, they wanted to ask all sorts of perdonal questions: Am I working, what am I doing, who do I work for. I asked why my current situation was relevant and asked them to tell me about the job. She said my rude attitude wouldn't be a good fit for their company and hung up.
Until she hung up, I would have bet you it was a collection agency. Have no idea who they are and suspect this isn't legit otherwise their phone would come up in a basic internet search.
When I called the number back, the message was "Hello, this is Fran with the HR Department of the Deally (?) Group. Please leave a message and I will call you back." It is registered to Osseo, MN. I'm not interested in any jobs there, so I'm not calling her back!
Woman I spoke with said she was with HR at "DUA Group", but I can't be sure. She launched into questions about my background, which was very odd since she claimed she had my resume from Monster.com. I asked three times for her to tell me about her company and the position she was hiring for. She kept saying "I'll get into that, but first let me ask you about...." When it was clear I wouldn't talk unless she identified herself, she acted like the phone connection went bad and she couldn't hear me. Our connection was fine until that point. She hung up on me. If it feels wrong, it is wrong!
