Caller ID said Laredo Equipment; phone number belongs to a heavy equipment company. Caller said they were claling from yellow pages to confirm the number in my listing - it's one of those calls, I think, where they try to record you saying "Yes" to one thing and then bill you for something else with that as proof of confirmation.
Caller with heavy accent (India) from YP confirming--yada-yada. Looked up number called from. Bobcat of West Metro.
This is the 3rd "other business" number they have called me from so far. I interrupted and told him that this was about th 10th time that I have been called by them. He hung up before I got done.
BE PROACTIVE! Make sure your phone company has 3rd party billing blocked so you won't find an extra charge on your bill.
Caller id said Lano Equipment but when I answered I heard " Well this is Simon from Yellow Pages" . Didnt bother waiting to find out what he wanted. Just told him to take me off the calling list at which point he hung up.
