This number called my place of employment. They said they wanted to do an employment verification on one or our employees. I said that the owner was out and that I could possibly help them. Then he said that he wanted to verify the employee's social security number. This definitely says SCAM all over it! Never give out someone's social over the phone. If this was legit they would have gotten the social from the person they were trying to verify!
We got a call asking for a man who lived at this address about eight years go. He never had the phone number that we have. We do nt know him or anything about him. When I asked the woman who was calling, she said Professional Association. I asked her what that meant, and she said that is al the information she could give me. The caller ID said Messerli Kramer.
