I was referred to the mayo clinic by my primary physician due to a slippage with my lap band it had to be removed and the mayo clinic coded it as bariatric and it wasn't bariatric so I'm being charge for a service I didn't receive $7500 is what they want me to pay not sure what route or how I should handle this open for suggestions

You might talk to the clinic's financial department.  Sometimes they will agree to negotiate some sort of settlement.  Assuming the clinic has a financial department.  If they won't negotiate and turn the matter over to a collections group then you'll have to deal with them.  At that point you might want to seek legal assistance.

They have done the SAME thing to me TWICE now! I was making monthly payments then BAM. I am so beyond frustrated.
