The caller ID shows Auto Ins Serv. A google search shows the owner is a Gerald Lind at 4649 University Ave Ne
Minneapolis, MN 5542 -- but this time the number is 763-331-0519. Other call reports show apparent telemarketing calls from this name with two different numbers going back to October. Reported to donotcall.gov
Caller Shows Gerald Lind. When I answered the phone, someone said this is Insurance Services. I asked why he was calling me. He said would I like to compare insurance rates. I asked why he was calling a do not call list number, and he hung up.
Answered the phone. Caller identified as Insurance Services and asked if I would like to compare home and auto rates. I told him that I was 1) on the DNC and 2) was an independent insurance agent myself. After a few dead air seconds, a voice (which almost sounded computerized) said thank you and have a nice day.
Answered the phone. Same as KMB above but I thought the introduction sounded computerized as well. There are no licensed insurance producers in MN with the name Gerald Lind.
