Recording saying Press 1 for lower rates... typical credit card scam. At first I hung up... but it kept calling (3 times) then I pressed 1 and told them I had no debt. <click> They STILL called. I pressed 1 and acted stupid for a while. After frustrating them for a while - they hung up. I was hoping this would tell their computer that there was a connection and to remove the number from their task list.
Now their Robo system still calls me an average of 2x per day. The Caller ID is spoofed. No way to get them to stop. Just have to wait it out I guess.
Not sure why they would have a system keep wasting time on a non-revenue number unless (a) the system is not sophisticated enough to drop a number that has been verified as no opportunity for them or (b) they purposely leave me on the list for screwing with them.
