Def scam!!!!! Tried scamming on a wedding dress I posted on Craigslist. Wanted to settle through PayPal and claimed to be a woman stationed at an Air Base in Wyoming and wanted me to ship to her "son" studying abroad in Africa ... Lol .. Even sent me address for
"Jim Benson" ..... Stupid scammers!!!
Texted about an ad in local classifieds. Asked for paypal invoice to direct ship to his son studying in Nigeria. Said payment was sent, but the e-mails are faked (not actually from PayPal, and have grammar mistakes), and nothing showed up in my PayPal. No response after I told him I wouldn't ship until I actually saw the payment in my PayPal account.
Scammer sends the same message from other phone numbers too. "Okay....What's the present condition of the item, and when was the last time you used the item, is't still functioning perfectly or faulty?" Says he's on Francis E. Warren Air Force Base and asks how I want to receive funds. When I answer "cash only" he doesn't respond.
Just got same line of BS and in key west. Responding to an ad for a phone I have for sale on KSL.com. What a douche! Thanks for posting this stuff, saves us all some time! Never called, just text.
