I have gotten at least 20 calls from this number who is calling for a Ruth (last name garbled) and I continue to tell them no one here by that name but they keep calling. Some are automated calls and they tell me they are removing my number from their records, but they keep calling. One again this morning that woke me up.
They have been calling me the past 2 days. I called 765-283-3176 back this morning and they wanted my ss#......
1) they called me at a number I have never given them
2) I don't owe them any money, nor have I borrowed any money from them.
3) I told the guy I was gonna call the number on the sallie mae website and he said I would get nowhere
4) I called the number on the sallie mae website and gave them the above mentioned phone number and they said the number has nothing to do with their company
These guys are a pain in the butt. My son owes for his student loan and is running two weeks behind right now and they start the minute he is late and don't give up till he makes a payment. They are wasting they're time! He isn't going to pay untill he gets paid anyway amd within a few months he'll be back in sink anyway so why don't they just knock it off!! We're NEVER going to answer anyway!
Sallie Mae is about STUDENT LOAN. Most like they are calling regarding past due student loan. I hope they have been nice, because they are trying to help the students out by paying back the government backed loans.
