Its Sallie Mae, Inc.
I have sent some serious debt validation letters and one that alluded to suing them for FDCPA violations to the Wilkes-Barre, PA center. From my research this seems to be the collections side of Sallie Mae. I assume they sold my note to themselves (another Dept.). Still no validation of my debt... They are not my original creditor and I never agreed to pay anyone but the U.S. Dept. of Ed. They refuse to show me any paperwork proving this debt was negotiated as prescribe by law in UCC Article 3 under negotiable instruments.
They continually call me and leave a message that I need to call them. I tried once to call them and got put on hold for a few minutes and hung up. My problem is that I have never borrowed any money from them and have no debt. I think they are calling everyone with my name and harassing them until they find the right person. Sure would like to get it stopped.
