I'm over 50 years old and have never had a student loan nor have I ever co-signed for any type of loan for anyone else . There are a total of 33 calls from Sallie Mae in the past 2 days on my land line which is for my alarm system. This company has dozens of numbers they use to call with,so call block doesn't seem to be an option and I doubt that telling them they've reached the wrong person is going to work.
My student loans have been paid off for over 3 years. I still have the "congrats" letter they sent me. A year after I was paid off, I had a "hit" on my credit record saying I close the account with a balance.
Now they're calling 7 days a week, non stop from 7am to 8pm.
True scum of the earth. Makes me wish I didn't pay off my loans. I lost my job of 13 years a few months after paying them off.
