Actually got a letter from the Department of Labor describing how someone falsely ripped my resume off their site. They warned me to watch out for this sort of activity because they couldn't account for the hacker. Sure enough, I got a text from this number with my full letter head name in it. Be warned.
I received a text from 765-393-9620 saying they found my resume online. They asked me to use Google Hangouts or Yahoo Messenger to conduct an online interview. This was a huge red flag. While talking to the "recruiter"the messages were coming up way to fast, and I was instructed to answer with "Done Reading". I am quite certain that this was a bot, and the English was terrible. Very poor grammar, which was another red flag. Still laughing while I'm being offered a work at home job that pays $48 an hour, I was then asked to answer 11 questions. One of which was what bank do I use. I answered #10 with "I am not comfortable providing this info". To my complete and total surprise (ROFL) I was hired!!!!! Since I would be a full time employee, and not an independent contractor, all I had to do was give the recruiter all of my personal info and banking information for direct deposit!!!!! Lucky me!!!!!!! I wanted to call the company to confirm this, and after going to their website, http://www.lifethc.com/contact.html, I was truly dismayed when I couldn't find a phone number or contact email!
Being serious now, never accept an invitation for a job interview online. Never give these scumbags any personal info. If you receive a text from this number or any kind of text like this, just block the number.
