Oh come on give him a break. He's either a poor schmuck serving out his sentence in a prison, or more likely he's condemned by damaged brain synapses to an endless series of unprofitable stints in a urine-soaked boiler room trying to intimidate real people with whom he will never be able to socialize in any meaningful way, to pay debts they don't owe to a phantom organization that will turn its proceeds into more drugs to fuel the boiler room convicts. Looks like this one had been partaking pretty heavily. Maybe meth withdrawl would explain it.
Given time, the remaining bits of its brain will simply disintegrate and its boiler room cell will be assigned to the next drug-addled would-be extortionist -- there seems to be an endless supply, unfortunately.
You should ignore it. I was so stressed out and afraid that everything she said was going to happen until manager told me that I need to tell her that she is harrassing meand she is not suppose to call me and threatened me at my job or at home. I wa still scared by hert threats and then I finally told her what my manager said, and she started screaming and I said good bye have a greatday. She ha never called me back and I haven't seen or been told by my payroll or HR about any papers and it has been almost 3 or 4 weeks. My husband hasn't said anything to me either about any papers served to him. The debt she is talking about is only in my name and she has no right to serve anything to my husband.
i got same call today 4-9 she said she was carol thompson from warrant division at thompson and associates.
she said since I am not paying it they will put it through to the warrant department for warrant for bad check charges. They said Emerald contacted them. Scared they can get a warrant for bad check charges can they do that does anyone know? I live in New York
I got scammed by this woman too and I gave my debit card as well. Cancel your card immediately because she will keep taking money from you. Also call your bank and dispute the money she took from your account. I hired an attorney and am actually taking legal action against her because what she did is illegal.
