I have since spoken to "Scott" and my niece, and they have both sworn that it was not a prank call, but a complete misunderstanding and it will not happen again. After explaining to them both (they are both young and very uneducated) about harassment, I accepted their apologies.
This person called me, wanting to "hook up" with me when he "comes to the South next month. I know this was a prank call, because it is a number that my niece who lives in Indiana used to call me from. This person's name is Scott (that's what he said), and he called me cell phone. He had to have gotten the number from my niece. He told me he was calling from Texas, and started getting graphic about "hooking up". I told him I wanted nothing to do with him, and for him not to call me ever again. At the time I was talking to him, I did not realize that he was in Indiana, and that this was the number my niece used to call from.
