I received a call from these people telling me I owe JCPenny. They were rude and the person called me stupid. They said they were an arbitration agency.
Just received .a phone call from these people who claim they are trying to recover a note that is overdue. They asked for my brother Chris but when I told them I wasn't him they went by the assumption I was and began calling me a professional debtor among other things. They never stated what the "note" was for. When I called back they picked up the phone but did not say anything just held on the line. I called back again and they were very rude.
The caller identified himself as Mark Anderson with an independent arbitration firm with the DFS. He did not call me by name only recited my phone number. I asked him where he was located and he said New York. I told him that was very fishy since I live in the state of Indiana and had never been to New York. He then said bye, bye very quick and hung up.
