A company that is legitimate in hiring someone will either call you or email you with return name and contact information in the initial email. The fact that the person writing me did not do this, and had just about the worst spelling and grammar tells me that this is no manager of a Human Resources department.
I promptly called CHG Healthcare and reported the incident to them, and I was informed that at least 4 or 5 other people have contacted them as well. My advice: If you receive a text from these people, call them out on their scam, and then immediately contact CHG Healthcare to report it, so that they can inform their legal department of this incident. Be sure to have their name and phone number as that helps them in their investigation...
the same happened to me. i received a text from 769-301-3601: and spent time on Skype with M Carroll David from CHG Health. His Skype showed European time zone. He said that company will mail me a check soon for tools. his skype id is: *** carrolldavid999 *** hope this will help to catch this fellow.
Don't do it.. Sending fake checks through the mail is a crime so contact the US Postal Service Inspectors: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx

If you receive an email or letter in the post / regular mail saying you won a lottery and they send you a check? Or you sold something on Ebay and the buyer paid with a check? Or you took out a loan from a distant or online bank and they sent you a check? You can just take the check to your bank and cash it right?
WRONG! And what is worse, if you cash it, in most states in the US, you may be guilty of passing a counterfeit check, money laundering or worse. Clark Howard did a piece on his radio show about a man in California who was arrested for cashing a bogus check. In other words, by merely attempting to cash the check, you could go to federal prison!
This is so much a scam.... I carried on a complete conversation with them and when they could not explain why their temporary office is closed, then they offered me the job at $25 an hour then proceeded to tell me that they would send me a laptop and a full set of books installed for the job, except for the payroll software which I had to pay for and they wanted my banking information. When I declined to send it to them this was their response: : So I have to pay for this software up front?
hiringelizabeth731: yes madam you are to purchase the software from the vendor
hiringelizabeth731: can you handle the cost?
: Sorry I am not prepared to pay for materials to do a job. If you would like me to work for your company, all that is required for the position should be provided.
