This phone number is spoofed to appear as though it is originating from Atlanta. I've never seen a "144" prefix here - ever. Two Hispanic or Asian-speaking (they had fairly thick accents) men. Knew my name (first & last) - could have gotten it from Spoke or other similar places. Said, "You've had your alarm system for over 3 years, right?" Me, "I'm not answering any questions because I don't know who you are." Them: "You are eligible for upgraded equipment for free since your equipment was manufactured over 12 years ago." I will turn you over to my supervisor. "Supervisor" named "Tony" (doubtful) asked the same question and I replied with the same answer. I told him I thought this type of thing should come through my alarm company and he hung up on me. TOTAL AND COMPLETE SCAM.

I just got the same call, and I foolishly told them that I didn't have an alarm system. Am now worried that my house will be targeted for a burglary. I hope the fact that a neighbor parks his police car down the street will deter that possibility.
