Number called, left a message saying i should contact my attorney in 24 hours as a case had already been filed. Called back from my work line (private blocked number at work). Sat on hold with "elevator music" and a lady's voice saying that there might be a delay as other callers were ahead of me. After 5 minutes, the lady said "good-bye" and the line went dead. Thinking this is a scam or telemarketing scheme. Tried to find more about it online. This number was listed here (the call back number left on my voicemail) and i want to help others from my experience. I am glad i am skeptical, as I didnt answer and gave no personal info. Scary what is out there. Be safe and be cafeful.

Received call on my cellphone stating that either I needed to contact them or have my retained attorney contact them with 24 hours. I called back and gave the case number they left on my voicemail. They are looking for someone else, but I was a reference for this person when they applied for credit many years ago. They did ask me to provide the party they are looking for with the details of the call and I told them I would not because I was no longer in contact with the person. The lady on the other end said thank you and ended the call. I have no information on whether this is a scam or legitimate attempt to collect a debt, but did not even give my name to be safe. Hope this helps, even if a little bit.
Got the same call. Got to be a scam, because if you had a returned item from your bank, the bank would have told you that. They are acamming. Can't get rid of the calls. I just block them when they show caller ID. Sorry no good people!
