Since it was local and I was expecting a call from someone, I answered. It seemed to be a young woman representing "the Pro-Life Committee", of which I'd never heard. Whenever I tried to talk, she would talk over me. So, I told her I was unable to contribute and I hung up.
Woman calling representing a pro-life group and asking for a "one-time $75 or $100" donation. She originally asked to speak to Kristina and when I told her she had the wrong number, she asked if I lived here "as well." When I told her no to the donation, she asked if I'd contribute $35. I hung up on her at that point.
It is a damn shame that the DO NOT CALL LIST works. If the feds could trace some of these numbers and place a HEAVY fine on them then maybe, just maybe, some of the kind of call would stop.
