Though I've gotten annoying faxes before, this is the first time I've seen this number. A little before 1 A.M. CST early Saturday morning. Caller ID "PPI Inc". 411 couldn't find the number, or a listing for PPI Inc., although thenumber looks like it should come from Buford, Georgia. I'm in Austin, TX, and never owned a fax machine.
I also noticed that someone reported a similar incident from (770) 271-5986 from the same caller ID.

I don't have a fax machine either and I have received calls from 770-271-5985 with caller ID showing PPI, Inc. They call at all hours of the night and I'm tired of it.
I am also receiving the same type of call from at least four other numbers, same MO.
I answer, beep, beep, beep. there are calls at all hours of the night from a number of companies and numbers. The one below is also 770-271-5983. I get British Co Call 604-468-0522; ny call 877-565-8456; washington call 206-260-1111, 1112; Ill call 630-203-0452.
