Stupid [***]. They have called me the past 5 days in a roll. No one speaks , they hang up so I call back number is disconnected. Bunch of bs. Guess ill change my number again!!
Caller ID said "Unknown Number." The caller said his name was Joe and he was selling a wireless home security system and would put a sign in my yard. Told him I wasn't interested and to put my number on the do not call list. The strange thing was he didn't hang up but he also didn't say anything else. I got dead air and after waiting about 4.5 minutes, I finally disconnected the call.
Got several calls in the last couple days from the same number. Didn't leave a message, though. I called the number back, some tehno-pop music started playing, and then I was connected to a call center. I asked for them to take my number off their list, and the person (with Indian/Mid-Eastern accent) said they would do so. I asked him/her (couldn't tell!) what my number was, and it was repeated back to me.
Two numbers 770-284-3097 and 770-284-3098 both seem to be connected in this scam.
They call and leave no message or if answered...say nothing. Are they just confirming my number?
When called back there is no company name and just a message that all customer service agents are busy.
I think everyone should get together and call them at the same time and set the phone down for 10 minutes to tie up their system. Any other ideas?
