caller said my name, and then hung up when I said rudely YEAH. On no call list,but, doesn't seem to help. I did *69 and the number was no longer in service. Just another of the thousands of phone scammers we have to deal with on a daily basis. You would think with all the reports of these numbers, the Homeland Security could and would be able to block or stop these illegal calls. Pissed off Wilma..................
Just got a call from that number, did not answer phone. Have a unit called Call Blocker. Hit the save button on unit so if they call again my phone will ring once and disconnect them.Have quite a few numbers on the block call list.
I answered and they asked for my husband by name. I asked to take a message or could I help them. The male said that he was collecting for some police organization that helps officers, their widows, and children. I said that we do not respond to telephone solicitations.
Have received a number of calls from this number. Have added all of our telephone numbers to the 'NO CALL LIST' numerous times, but like just about everything else with our 'government', it was a waste of time. Hoping that Consumer Report's efforts will pay off. In the meantime, PLEASE, let us elect some folks in 2016 who a competent enough to accomplish just the little things -- like BLOCKING UNWANTED CALLS THAT INTERRUPT productive hours. They appear to be incapable of doing ANYTHING -- RIGHT!
