You do understand that the do not call registry does not apply to debt collection, right? It amazes me how many people think that they're not going to receive a call for debts based on a telemarketing DNC list....
However there's something fishy with these people.
How strange I received a call from them and I live in Texas from what I'm reading they're based in Georgia for Quick Cash of South Dakota but when I Google that business there is no such entity. Quick Cash in Texas, but I have never heard of this company until I Google searched quick cash. Smells like [***]
I like the content of your reply, but you do realize that you are responding to a post from nearly six (6) YEARS ago, so it is extremely unlikely that the person you are responding to will ever see it. In fact, strictly on an actuarial basis, there is a non-negligible probability that that person may not even be alive right now. (I know that is gruesome to contemplate, but it is true.)
It is one thing to address your response to other posters, e.g., to correct a misconception or to point out what may have changed since an old post appeared. But please check the posting date of the old post if you are responding personally to someone ("You do understand...") and realize that most people -- especially unregistered posters -- are probably not going to keep checking for a first response to their post beyond the next month following their posting date.
