Caller identified herself as Micki from some research company. (sorry it was so early when the call came in that I cannot remember the name) and asked for me by my middle name. A name mind you, that I normally do not go by. Needless to say, this fact alone raised a red flag, so I figured I'd have some fun with her. Anyway, and said she needed to update my info as a diabetic patient, (which I am). Asked if I was still monitoring my blood sugar every day. I lied and said that I only monitor it 3 times a week. Then she asked what type of meter I use, and I lied again and told her something different than what I really use. Next, she said rattled off my address and asked if it was correct. I told her no, and gave her the address of our local police department. Then she asked if the birthdate they had on file was correct and spouted off a date. It was wrong, but I told her it was correct. Finally she said she needed to verify the spelling of my name and proceeded to misspell it completely. Even my last name was spelled wrong. Neither names were even close!!! BAM...there is was!!!! Scam! Made me feel good that I had lied to her! So.... I told her that it was indeed correct. She then told me to have a good day and hung up. I went back to sleep feeling justifiably satisfied in knowing that I scammed HER instead of it being the other way around! LOL!!!

Received a "missed call" and checked this number - 770-450-1559. I'm tired of receiving numbers when my number is on the "Do Not Call Registry List!!" Block this number. I looked at the complaints under this phone number and have been receiving calls about glucose testing, wanting to put me on their supply list, etc., etc. I get my own testers and strips and do not know how my number keeps "popping" up with these companies. I don't "click" on any link regarding medical supplies.
I fill out one online survey my Dr. office asked me to fill out and been getting calls from these yahoos ever since. Don't fill out online surveys especially if they promise a gift card at the end, it's not worth the hassle of these people calling. I asked them who gave them permission to call and they said my insurance company, called the insurance company and nope they don't do that, next time they called I asked again, "Your insurance", I called [***] and asked for a supervisor. She hung up. I'm going to chew my Dr. out for asking me to do that.
