I received frequent call from this number and they wanted to verify some information. They said they are from detectives detective office and they have a case against me or something.
They keep calling saying I have a case against me for check fraud or something. The person sounded live and it wasn't until I tried to interrupt that I found it was a recording. They call everyday 2 and 3 times a day. I stopped answering after the 2nd time. Sometimes they leave that same voice mail and sometimes nothing.
I have received multiple calls on my business cell phone from 770-462-2197. Mark Anthony (caller) states that this is the last time they will be calling me as there is a case against me with my name and social security number attached. They have not once stated my name on the voice mail. They stated that this will be the final time they attempt to get ahold of me as my case will be sent over for legal action. I have never received anything in the mail so I WILL NOT give any information over the phone regardless. I am married to a Law Enforcement officer of 28 years so I have seen SCAMs like this multiple times.
I have been receiving calls for months saying there is a case against me for fraud, etc. I know it's a scam. I never answer and never call back. Just wondering, how do you block these since it's to my cell phone they are making the calls to? I also get calls from a 404 area code saying the same stuff. Just super annoying cuz I use my personal number for work so it takes up time from potential business when they call. Thanks for any help!
I just had that exact same message left on my business number. How do I get them to stop calling? It's just more of a pain and annoying. I never call back or answer. Thanks!
