Keeps calling and saying I'm under investigation for fraudulent activity for a cash advance. When I inquired more info, I was told good luck with my case, and they hung up.
Same as above, Caller is either a recording or a "investigator Fisher". The caller never Identifies me personally, just a very vague message to call him back.
Is there somewhere to verify that this is a Fraud?
Message #1: "Your name, social security number and checking account are involved in a financial transaction now under investigation"
Message #2: "This is Investigator Fisher calling from the Office of Financial Affairs. I do show that a legal claim here in the office to have you located, notified and processed in regards to a fraud investigation regarding your name. I do need to hear from you immediately regarding this matter"
7 calls in the last 3 days, no company ever identified, clearly a robocall spammer trying to scare information out of people with official sounding words.
They called me and told me that if I did not pay $300 today they would have the sheriff's office come arrest me and I would have to pay a bond to get out of jail. When I had my attorney's office call to find out what this was about the person answering the phone was very rude and refused to tell my attorney's office anything. They eventually hung up on my attorney's office.
