They beat on my door for about10 mins and I didn't answer so they left a business card on my door with a reference number but no other information. I make my monthly payments and I haven't missed one. I called and all the guy said wad his name is Chris with Srs. No other info as I didn't give him the reference number

Also it's a violation of civil law in any efforts to repossess or collect anything using a business card, post cards or anything with a reference number on it and using the words ASAP. It implies someone owes something to another party...
Your company needs to learn state law as well as the FDCPA. It is unlawful to collect a debt or collateral using post cards or business cards with a reference number on it. IT INDICATES THAT SOMEONE OWES A DEBT REGARDLESS TO IF IT IS IN EFFORTS TO COLLECT THE COLLATERAL IN WHICH THE DEBT ARISES FROM...DUMB [***]...
I also got the business card on the door routine, and my deadbeat ex-husband is several months behind on his car payment, so bingo! Thing is, he owes a lot more in back child support than he does on the car, so....I think I deserve to be first in line.
