Got a call from this number today and they left a voice mail not starring whom they were looking for but said they were investigator someone or other and that I needed to contact them cuz I was being investigated for check fraud, first of all they didn't say who they were calling from or who they were looking for! Second I have been called before with people saying this! I'm sick of them trying to threaten me into paying money that I don't owe
just received call saying my file had reached their desk and a warrant was being issued for me immediately if I didnt return the call before close of business. I called the same number back and not the one they said call because I couldnt write it down fast enough, and got 'cornett' and then a lady who answered 'investigations'. I warned them not to call me again.
I got call about 15mins ago, same as LC above. I didn't receive live voice, only recorded message saying to please hold and then after a minutes, saying too busy & please call back.
I received a voice mail from a lady. She didn't identify where she was calling from but she had a warrant that came through her office for someone (they never said who they were looking for and I don't have my name on my voicemail) for tax fraud. I called the number back and all it says is Miss Cornett?
Got a call earlier today. Said it was the same check fraud thing... Except I haven't written a check or even had checks in over a decade. Caused me to look up the number and found here. Thanks for the info!
