Just noticed something else. This was the third "XXXXXXXXXX" call I received. the last four digits are the same, but so far there are two prefixes used — again, all are spoofed. The three versions preceding 2396 are 404-511, 215-711, and 770-711
This call came to us at 8am this morning while trying to sleep! The lady began speaking as if she was in a room filled with 'operators' who were robo-calling residents. Her English was broken but clear enough that I could make out the following. She said our name and that their records show that we've been with their security alarm service for three years.....(although she didn't identify herself with any specific company) and would we care to get a better rate? I figure she was fishing for an answer like "We're with "Insert company" or "We don't have an alarm service plan" or etc, etc. After hanging up, the telephone number was replaced by a bunch of X's but when I tried to call it back, the number above (770-711-2396) reappeared.
