Just got a voicemail about a "fraudulent case against me". Second one in two days, both from Georgia but different numbers and different person. Nothing but a scam.
Got a call this morning from this number, recorded message (man with thick southern accent attempting to sound intimidating and failing miserably at it) that my name, social security number and bank account were under investigation for fraud, press one to speak with a representative. When someone finally came on the line, she asked me for the case #, I said, you just called me, I didn't call you so i have no case number, put me on hold, came back and asked for a name I don't recognize and I told her they had the wrong number, she said ok, thank you, we will remove your number from our records, sorry to have disturbed you. She was very nice, but lets see if they really do as I received the same call yesterday, but from 678-310-9920. Tried to press one for live person, but just rang and rang. Hopefully the two numbers are from the same company and they do remove my number as I receive more than enough telemarketing/scam calls daily, don't need want another that I will have to add to my blocked calls list.
