They say that they are asking for donation for the fraternal order of police officers to help with children of officers killed in the line of duty, to help pay for bullet proof vests, etc. Asking some of my law buddies about it but have not found yet whether or not they are legit. They do ask for credit card #, but they did not get mine.
Robo call that when called back says they are collecting for the Georgia Federal Order of Police. Research founds this is a scam for an organization that collects money and gives 5% to local police agencies. It's a total rip off.
I have had repeated evening calls from 770-809-0810 and when my answering machine answers, they hang up. This evening I redialed the number and the message I heard was that I'd won a cruise. SCAM Alert!
