Caller stated her name was Angel and that her boss asked her to give me a call to make sure I'd received the dinner invitation they had mailed last week regarding my timeshare. I told her we did not have a timeshare and to please put me on the "Do not call" list. Angel stated "Yes, ma'am" and hung up.

Got a call from them today.... Sunday afternoon....and since they had called several times and not left a message, I decided to answer and find out what they wanted. Asked for me by name and said they were following up on a postcard invitation for a dinner sponsored by TImeshare organization (RCI and another one), and that it was an 'informational meeting', and was for me and a guest. They are trying to sell their services or additional services -- said the dinner was at Red Lobster (WOW ! A free dinner at Red Lobster for two hours of my time --- no thanks...that's not even minimum wage, if you do the math), and particularly since they're going to have you as a captive audience to sell you something you don't want.... just another one of the Time Share industries various methods of trapping buyers in to a high pressure sales situation --- i decided to JUST SAY NO ! and politely said I was not interested in participating .... and then she hung up on me --- just shows you how unprofessional and sweatshop oriented RCI and these other groups are. B-E-W-A-R-E !!!
