770-824-3041 is a telemarketer hired by, we think but could be scammer, asking for money to support Fraternal Order of the Police. I have talked to them several times over the yrs and told them we never commit to any telephone solicitations but he keeps insisting I give. I tell him again to remove us from their calling list.
They called again on May 1, 2015 and I told him to stop talking. He was mad and hung up. When I talked to them last yr (they call every yr until I answer), I asked questions. He worked out of Dublin, Ga & was not a policeman, but a hired telemarketer. I asked how much of my donation would go to the police. He would not tell me. I told him not to call again.
They try to intimidate you into thinking you MUST support a police orgn. They don't need money. They get nice retirements like most other people. Are we going to support them for the rest of their lives w/ our retirement money? They refuse to send anything in the mail unless u commit. Block this call , like I just did and when THEY use a different nr, block that one also. My Panasonic ph allows me to block 250 nrs!! PTL!
