Called 3 times. I kept a middle eastern sounding guy on the line for 10 minutes as he kept trying to get me to give him access to my computer. When I told him I had an Mac he cursed at me, my mother and everyone.
first call came from 254-895-4856; said they were calling about computer; windows support or something like that; on first call I said I dont have a computer--he hung up; 2nd call I said You are trying to Scam me! then hung up; both numbers blocked on cell
Got a call from this number BuT didnt answer. I'd never give information about my property to a scammer over the phone. Ultimately there probably trying to get financial info.
This number called me at 1:15 PM claiming to be a Windows update for my computer. This is rather amazing since I don't HAVE a Windows computer. After telling this to the man on the phone, who had a very thick accent of perhaps a middle east or far east origin, I simply thanked him for calling and hung up.
