Received a call from 1-770-854-0159. Caller ID was 'Roopville GA'. I had another call from Roopville GA on 4/13/15 with only one difference in the phone number - 1-770-854-0199 compared to today's number of 1-770-854-0159. Clever, 0159 instead of 0199 as above. Blocked this number also.
It looks like Roopville is getting cranked up again for scamming.
Caller said they were from a radio station (WSTR Star 94.1 in Atlanta) and wanted us to enter a "listen to win" contest. The number can be called back and the message matches what was said when we answered, but it is clearly still a sleazy advertising solicitation for a commercial for-profit enterprise and is covered under Do Not Call, not to mention that it is incredibly annoying.
I receive numerous calls from this Roopville, GA number everyday. Since they will not stop calling I am going to start wasting their time by answering and seeing how long I can keep them on the phone.
