They may pretend to take notes, but all they want is cash. That's why they bought the debt. Anything you pay them will not go to the original person or company you owe money to.

They threaten to ruin your credit for life. They call your cell phone and family members. This is not an ethical company.

someone, claiming to be from tennessee, called for an older brother's phone number.   i don't know if they were rude, but got our elderly mother upset.  thanks for your replies so i can clear this up for mom.
