The callers from this number are extremely are persistent. They started calling my number several months ago, calling at least twice each day at various times of the day. Although I did not answer, they continued to call. They stopped calling during the month of January, but started up again the first of February.
I avoid answering calls from numbers I do not recognize, but today I was expecting a call from a towing company and answered. While answering, I realized that I’d seen the number before. The caller knew me by name and I asked why he continued to call my number. He stated that he had not called before. I responded by saying that I’ve seen the number on my caller ID about 50 times or more. Then he stated that he had never reached me before. I needed to get off the phone so I asked him to tell the nature of the call. He stated that someone would be in my area and would like to take a survey…………..I say no and asked him I he would stop calling my number. He said OK, but I don’t believe it.
I just need to be more careful and continue to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognize. I turned my answering service off many months ago and I’ve received fewer repeat calls and fewer calls in general. However, some like this one just won’t give up.
